There are certain places on the planet earth which are widely known for their holy importance, Mount Kailash is one of the holy places. Mount Kailash is a 6,638 m ( 21,778 Ft ) high peak in the Kailash Range of the great Himalaya. It is said that this place is the centre point of the planet earth. The word ' Kailash Mansarovar is made of two words namely Kailash and Mansarovar. The word Kailash refers as Mountain or the home of lord Shiva where as Mansarovar refers to Lake in Mountain. Lake Mansarovar was firstly created in the mind of the Lord Brahma after which it came on earth. It is said that the pilgrim who is able to drink the holy water of the lake will go directly to the abode of Shiva after their death. The lake attracts pilgrimage from India, Nepal, Tibet and neighbouring countries every year and the yatra is known as Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
Kailash Mansarovar is one of the gtreatest Hindu pilgrimage destinations. As per the Hindu methodologies the Mansarovar was firstly took place into Lord Brahma’s thoughts and then it came here on the earth. The two words ‘ Manas ‘ and ‘ Sarovar ‘ mean Mind and Lake respectively. It is said that one who drinks water from this lake will go the Lord Shiva’s abode after his death and becomes free of all the sins. The holy Kailash is also called as the Mount Kailash. The sacred place is situated at 4,560 Meters above sea level in the western part of Tiibet.
Your Arrival Time – Airport pickup and transfer to your Hotel. 07:00PM – A short briefing about Kailash Mansarovar Yatra before dinner.
10:00 AM – After Breakfast – Full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Jal Narayan Temple. Packing and preparation for the trip.
Drive to Dhunche (2000m / 130 km / 6 hrs) or Syabrubesi (1600m / 145 km / 6.5 hrs). Overnight stay Lodge.
Drive to Rasuwagadhi (1800m / 15 km / 45 min from Syabrubesi), then complete immigration & custom formalities in Nepal & Tibet side at Rasuwagadhi, and then continue further drive to Kyirong county (3950m) – 3 hrs / 105 km. Overnight stay Guesthouse
All Day – Entire day free for acclimatization. Short treks will be taken in preparation for the Kailash Yatra.
09:00 AM – After Breakfast – Drive to Dongba (335 km – 7hrs) en-route passing Thorong La, Paigu-Tso Lake and Brahmaputra River. Meal: Breakfast at Nyalam, Packed Lunch and Dinner at Dongba
08:00 AM – Drive towards Mansarovar Lake (7hrs) crossing beautiful places and stay at the shore of the Lake. Fill spiritual water.Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake by vehicle (2 hrs-110 km)
Most of the day – Take holy bath and perform Puja (prayer ritual) at MansarovarLake 04:00 PM – Drive to Darchen (2hrs)
10:00AM – After short drive, we will reach Tarboche and visit Yama Dwar. This is starting point for Kora. We will trek to Dirapuk (4860 m) which is 12 kms trek (5-6 hrs). You will visit North face of Mt. Kailash and touching the feet of Mt. Kailash (Charan Sparsh). Travelers who do not want to trek around (Parikrama) Kailash can go back to Darchen and wait for rest of the group to arrive from Parikrama.
07:00AM – Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and proceed to Zuthulpuk (22 km trek for 7-8 hours trek). This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to the 18,600 ft. From descend to Gaurikund and further trek along with the river to Zuthul-puk.
08:00AM – After short Trek (2 hrs) and reach to the point where the coach will be waiting and we will drive to Darchen and merge with other members who were waiting and drive to Dongba.
Back journey, drive to Kyirong County – 270 km / 5.5 hrs. Overnight stay at Guesthouse.
Drive back to Kathmandu via Rasuwagadhi border completing immigration formalities – around 8-10 hr / 265 km.
After Breakfast – Visit Pashupatinath Temple. 10:00AM – Visit to Swayambhunath Stupa (spend 1 hr) 11:00AM – Drive to Pokhara (200 km – 6 hrs). En-route you can visit Manakamana Temple through Cable Car – Extra Cost of Cable Car ticket is INR 500 per person paid directly at the station. This ride gives breathtaking views of Hills, Mountains, forests, little farming villages and the ride through the clouds.
Early Morning – Transfer to Airport & fly to Jomsom – 25 minutes. Arrival at Jomsom Airport and walk to hotel – 5 minutes from Airport – After short break – walk to jeep stand (10-15mins) and drive to Muktinath (20 kms – 2-3 hrs). On the way you can enjoy see the scenery of nature beauty places, George of Gandaki river, Monastery & Kagbeni. – Arrival at Ranipauwa (3710 m) and walk to Muktinath temple (40 min) where you will have holy bath on 108 waterspouts name of “Muktidhara” and in front of temple there is 2 kunda known as Muktikunda. After darshan, walk to Jwalamai Temple – continuously burning flame and walk back to Ranipauwa. Drive back to Jomsom by Jeep (2-3 hrs) and walk back to hotel.
Early Morning: Transfer to Jomsom Airport for flight to Pokhara. After short break – we will go for Pokhara sightseeing where you will visit following: Bindhyabasini Temple, Davis Fall, Seti River Gorge, Gupteshwor Cave, Barahi Temple, Fewa Lake.
Early Morning: Drive to Sarangkot – hill station from where you will see the Mt Fishtail, Mt Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Mt Annapurna and other mountain ranges. After Breakfast – Drive to Kathmandu.
Bramandh Rudraksha and certificate of completion will be provided as a gift fromKailash Journeys. You will be free till your flight time. We will drop you at Airport 1-2 hour before flight time (30 min drive).
