There are certain places on the planet earth which are widely known for their holy importance, Mount Kailash is one of the holy places. Mount Kailash is a 6,638 m ( 21,778 Ft ) high peak in the Kailash Range of the great Himalaya. It is said that this place is the centre point of the planet earth. The word ' Kailash Mansarovar is made of two words namely Kailash and Mansarovar. The word Kailash refers as Mountain or the home of lord Shiva where as Mansarovar refers to Lake in Mountain. Lake Mansarovar was firstly created in the mind of the Lord Brahma after which it came on earth. It is said that the pilgrim who is able to drink the holy water of the lake will go directly to the abode of Shiva after their death. The lake attracts pilgrimage from India, Nepal, Tibet and neighbouring countries every year and the yatra is known as Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
Kailash Mansarovar is one of the gtreatest Hindu pilgrimage destinations. As per the Hindu methodologies the Mansarovar was firstly took place into Lord Brahma’s thoughts and then it came here on the earth. The two words ‘ Manas ‘ and ‘ Sarovar ‘ mean Mind and Lake respectively. It is said that one who drinks water from this lake will go the Lord Shiva’s abode after his death and becomes free of all the sins. The holy Kailash is also called as the Mount Kailash. The sacred place is situated at 4,560 Meters above sea level in the western part of Tiibet.

Full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Temple and Jal Narayan Temple.
Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa and transfer to hotel.
Lhasa city sightseeing.
Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse.
After breakfast drive to Dongba
After breakfast drive to Mansarovar.
For most of the day you are free for Pooja and Hawan. You can take a dip in Mansarovar Lake and do Pooja of Lord Shiva. Full day for spiritual activities. We will drive to Darchen after Mansarovar parikrama (110 km – 2.3 hrs) and stay there
Today is the First day of Parikrama. After short drive (8 km) from Darchen, we will reach Tarboche and visit Yam Dwar. Then trek to Dirapuk which is 12km trek. Today is the first day of your Kailash Parikrama where you have to walk for about 6 to 7 hours. You will visit North Face of Mt Kailash and touching the feet of Mt. Kailash (Charan Sparsh).
Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass to Zuthulpuk total of 22km trek. This is the most difficult journey throughout the yatra since you have to trek up to the 18,600 ft. From descend to Gauri kund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk.
We will Trek down to Darchen. Later our tour starts back for Kathmandu following the same route and same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal.
Drive back to Shigatse.
O/N stay at the hotel. Drive back to Lhasa.
Fly back home. We will drop you at Kathmandu Airport.
