Chitrakoot is a holy township, located in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. It is located in north-east region of Madhya Pradesh state which shares its boundary with Uttar Pradesh state. It is sacred place for Hindu region followers as during exile, Lord Rama, along with wife Sita and brother Laxman, spend considerable in Chitrakoot forest area due to which this place became a sacred place for Hindus and devotees visit this place, throughout the year. Known for its grand palaces, intricately carved temples, and striking forts, situated on the banks of the river Betwa Orchha is a city with a lot of historical significance and a photographers' paradise. The medieval architecture of the palaces and temples tell the story of this city's rich cultural heritage. Orchha was the capital of one of the most powerful dynasties to ever rule in India- the Bundelas. The sheer magnificence and grandeur of the Havelis and temples are absolutely breathtaking. Orchha is world-renowned for its classic mural paintings and frescos. The world renowned temple, Chaturbhuj Temple was built by the Queen of Orchha, Ganeshi Bai. Another famous temple Raj Mandir was built by Madhukar Shah during his reign between 1554 and 1591. Dauji ki Haveli, Chhatris, and Lakshmi temple are few other places that cannot be missed by any tourist traveling here.
Come from your City Jhansi, the city of Rani Laxmi Bai.Upon arrival you will be met at the railway station and transferred to your hotel.Look out for the Peregrine signboard. You will be to Orcha. Orcha is a medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces and temples of the 16th and 17th century which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time.Later go for a tour of this historical site with magnificent temples and monuments. Some of the palaces were decorated with painted murals which represent the finest flowering of the Bundela School of painting. Visit beautiful Palace Complex Jahangiri Mahal and the Raja Mahal. After breakfast in the morning at the hotel check out and drive to Khajuraho. Driving past Orcha and country side villages for 3.5 hrs arrive at the hotel in Khajuraho for check in.Khajuraho is home to India s largest group of medieval Hindu temples, famous for their erotic sculptures depicting scenes from the Kama Sutra.Khajuraho was once the religious capital of the Chandela Rajputs, a Hindu dynasty that ruled this part of India from the 10th to the 12th centuries. Later in the day check out and drive to the Panna 1 hour journey from Khajuraho, Panna is known for diamond, forest & famous temple, Sight Seen of panna, after lunch transfer to Chitrakoot, 4 hours arrive at hotel check in, chitrakoot is holy land of lord Rama, Mandakini river, boating many temples, gupt godavari, hanuman dhara, kamadgiri temple ect is very famous.
After Breakfast in the morning visit of some arogyadham & some very attractive places later in check out & drive to jhansi. Arrive Jhansi early in the evening.
