Proceed to Kanchipuram. En-route visit Vellore – Sripuram Vellore Golden temple. In the evening visit Shiv Kanchi temple and Vishnu Kanchi temple.
Proceed to Pondicherry. En-route visit Shore temple – classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Crocodile park, Arjuna Penance and Five Rathas at Mahabalipuram. On arrival enjoy Pondicherry beach in the evening
Visit Shri Aurobindo Ashram, Matru Mandir and Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus. Proceed to Thanjavur and overnight stay at Thanjavur.
Proceed to Trichy. Visit the Brihadeeshwara temple – a World Heritage site and Vyonkoji Palace museum. Also visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple – largest temple in India and one of the largest religious complexes in the world.
Proceed to Rameshwaram – the place from where Lord Rama, built a bridge across the sea to rescue his consort Sita, from her abductor, Ravana. Arrive at Rameshwaram in the evening. Later visit Ramanathan temple. Please carry a separate handbag containing pair of clothes along with you for overnight stay at Rameshwara
Visit Meenakshi temple – Madurai’s claim to fame for its meticulous colorful carvings on the Gopurams (towers), in the vivid Dravidian image of Gods, Goddess, animal and mythical figures. Free time for shopping in the evening.
